11/12/2022 0 Comments Resident evil 3 remake plot holes![]() Carlos, upon discovering that Umbrella was responsible for the outbreak, is understandably horrified, given his (technical) affiliation with Umbrella, something that was barely touched upon in the original.appear and one of the objectives is to save a roomful of civilians. Jill was pretty alone and the other survivors could be counted on one hand. Inverted where the supporting cast is concerned. For example, instead of the silent and gooey sounding bites of the original Hunter Gamma, this one wraps Jill with several prehensile tongues and audibly breaks her bones as she screams. The death scenes, much like 2's, have been revamped to be more horrifying. He changes from humanoid to bestial (like a muscular Alien) to a wall of meat. Adaptive Ability: Nemesis, well, adapts as he gets damaged throughout the game.Barry doesn't show up as a helicopter pilot. Some of the monsters in the original game don't show up here in this game, such as the Grave Digger or the Brainsuckers. This isn't the first time Jeff Schine voices a heroic Latin-American survivor of a zombie apocalypse.William Hope voices Captain Mikhail Victor, who leads a doomed mission into a destroyed city and is deliberately set up to fail by the evil Mega-Corp, ultimately blowing himself up to stop a monster to save one of his allies, just like Lieutenant Gorman before him.The original was also already considered to be the most action-focused of the original Playstation 1 trilogy, and as a result the developers added new action-focused gameplay elements, like the emergency evade seen in the Special Developer Message, not present in the previous release in the series, Resident Evil 2 (Remake). As seen in the Special Developer Message, the faster "over-the-shoulder" style of camera and controls from Resident Evil 4 and later games is used as opposed to a static camera and tank controls that led to slower gameplay in the original Resident Evil 3. 2nd runs were probably added because fans were freaking out, or simply to extend the length of the game, which is more than welcome, in my opinion.Īlso they probably dropped the B scenarios because they didn't want this game to replace the original, which, to me, translates to a sign of respect, for both the fans, and the game. RE1 style is exactly what I personally expected. The devs kept on saying there was no zapping system or B scenarios, for months. Īt least in RE1 it was clear that they were supposed to be completely seperate. Maybe they are 2 seperate stories which are told across 2 playthrus. It makes no difference what you call them Originally posted by Truest Lord Pancake: I don't like that they did it, and there is evidence that they changed to this from coherent stories, but this is what we got. It's not a plot hole, because there is not single plot being portrayed.Īgain, It's like RE1. Look it's not perfect, but the two stories are not meant to be coherent. You're unlocking an alternative version of that night's events. People keep calling them that, but they are 1st and 2nd run. In that case why do both characters have an A and B scinario.Īnd why are both characters B scinarios only unlocked after the other characters A scinario have been completed. If you have played RE1, you'll know how it works. In short, she doesn't die twice (obviously), just like Mr.X doesn't get killed by Birkin if you are playing as Leon, nor do you fight the 'same bosses in the same places'. If you meet her as Leon, Claire doesn't meet her at all. HOW she dies depends on who you meet her as. Whichever character you are playing as is considered the star of the show and only their events matter for that run - the other character doesn't exist outside of shared cutscenes.Īnnette only dies once.
